1. There is an on call doctor from our FHO group (see the below) who will cover Dr. Tang’s patients from Monday through Thursday 5 pm to 8 pm. There is an Urgent Care Centre operated by Mackenzie Health that can help you Hours: Mon-Fri 4 pm-10 pm and Sat-Sun 10 am-4 pm Location: 9401 Jane St, Vaughan, ON L6A 4H7. Intersection: Jane St and Rutherford Rd Urgent Care Centre Service: offers medical attention for patients of all ages with non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries (for example, sports injuries, deep cuts, minor burns, fevers, coughs, colds, infections, earaches, eye injuries, nose and throat complaints, insect bites, allergies, skin rashes that do not require hospitalization or immediate surgery) with on-site diagnostic and treatments services such as x-rays, casts, stitches, and laboratory tests.3. Telehealth Ontario is also there for you 24/7. It is a free service provided by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care that allows Ontario residents to speak to a Registered Nurse with their medical or health questions any time, day or night. You can also call with any questions you have about an ongoing or previously diagnosed condition, or general questions about diet and nutrition, sexual health or healthy lifestyles. You can also ask about medication and drug interactions, teen health, breastfeeding and mental health concerns. The service is offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Telehealth Ontario can be reached at 1-866-797-0000. The nurses can connect callers to translators in other languages.
